Shipping Policy



For the holidays, Elegantly Handled will be OPEN Monday Dec 21. We will be CLOSED Tuesday Dec 22 through Sunday, Dec 27, 2020. We will reopen Monday Dec 28, 2020.

We take as much care in shipping your Elegantly Handled gift basket as we do creating it. We use Federal Express and the United States Postal Service as our carriers. Standard shipping for the contiguous U.S. is via ground service by our selection of carriers.

We ship via ground service unless otherwise specified. For an additional charge we can ship via overnight (including Saturday delivery), express (2-3 business days) and standard (3-10 business days) shipping. Saturday and Sunday are not business days to all the shipping carriers. Packages do not ship, move or deliver on weekends unless using Saturday Delivery. You can also specify the shipping date that works best for you. Please note that shipments to an APO/PO Address must use Standard Shipping (USPS) and can not be guaranteed for a specific delivery date.

We strive to ship orders the same day they are placed, but in some instances orders may require 2 business days to ship. Orders must be placed by 11:00 am EST to be considered for same day shipping. However, due to the extreme volume during the holiday season, it may take extra time. We are not responsible for inaccurate addresses and re-shipments will be at the customer’s expense.

We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by adverse or unpredictable weather conditions. Because temperatures vary across the country, we may choose to not ship over the weekend (Friday) in order to ensure premium quality upon arrival. For this reason, we cannot guarantee Monday deliveries.
